
Gerald was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and graduated high school in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. He studied history at L.S.U. and civil law at Loyola Law School in New Orleans.
Gerald has been a regional lawyer for over 25 years. After the Louisiana bar exam, Gerald moved to East Texas where he expanded into real estate developer and construction. He successfully gained admission to three state bars before turning 30 years of age, by dividing time between job sites and exam preparation for the Texas and the Mississippi bar exams.
Gerald participated in the growth of business operations from East Texas into the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex and Louisiana. He has operated in multiple states from the office, job sites, and the road.
He is an experienced lawyer and business owner. He is a former licensed Louisiana Contractor Qualifying Party and Title Insurance Producer. His experience also includes prolonged, complex multi-state litigation.
